Born as the daughter of German/Italian parents, she studied the Italian language in Florence. Back in Germany she studied the English language for three years, and a became state certified translator and interpreter for the English language in 2004.

In 2005, after a one year course of studies in specialist interpreting in English and Italian, she opened a business of her own. Since then she has been working as a translator and interpreter for German, Italian and English, mostly for the film industry, the German Engineering Federation and for the tourism sector.

Furthermore she qualified as a Certificated Goethe-Institute Lecturer for the German Language and is also an experienced lecturer for Italian and English
